This is one of the ones I got and is my soundtrack for homework tonight. Not a bad purchase for $1.00. I also got a minty copy of the Rolling Stones compilation album, Made in the Shade, for $4.00. It is nice when you find a record shop that doesn’t have the hipster tax added.
I also saw this ridiculous minivan.

I totally thought this was referring to the punk/ska punk band and not the movie at first glance.

Any record shop where you can buy an album by a well known band for $4 is okay in my book. Too many places trying to sell Undercover for $20, not enough stores selling Exile on Main St for $5.

I wanted a copy of Exile but I couldn’t find one! The shop was awesome though. Even though it was in a college town, the average age of people in there was around 50. They had a box of free album promotion posters for well known bands bands as well.

My preferred record store is like that. There’s three of them in the town: two hipster ones, and one old guy store. The old guy store is the best, he even sells old turntables and stuff in there...the good stuff, $400 stuff.
I started collecting and listening to vinyl maybe two years ago, a ratty copy of Exile is actually what started it. I was looking for car parts at a flea market and bought the record because I love the Stones and planned to frame it. Then I bought a turntable and listened to it instead. THEN my uncle gave me an ‘80s hifi system and some enormous 70s-80s Klipsch speakers. Now it’s more of an illness than a hobby.

Haha, though I’m in college my entire setup all mid-70s Pioneer equipment (except my Denon receiver, shitty Fisher turntable, and Ohm speakers). In my town there is only one record store. It is owned by a grumpy old man who things a scratched up copy of an undesirable band nobody has heard of is at the minimum worth $20. They type of store where a repressed used copy of Exile is $98.00. Needless to say, I’ve never given the guy any of my money.
